As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, Burbank Adult School remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting every adult learner in achieving their educational, career, and personal goals. We recognize that many individuals face challenges and barriers while striving to build a better future. However, we also believe that when we work together as a community, we create opportunities, strengthen families, and empower one another to succeed.

At Burbank Adult School, we are dedicated to providing high-quality educational programs that transform lives and open doors to new opportunities.

First, we remain focused on supporting our English learners as they develop the language, digital literacy, and workforce skills necessary to transition into short-term career pathways, higher education, and meaningful employment opportunities. We believe that language acquisition is a critical foundation for personal growth, economic mobility, and community engagement.

Second, our Academic Department is committed to ensuring that students pursuing a high school diploma successfully achieve their dream of graduation. Likewise, students preparing for the GED or HiSET examinations receive the academic support and guidance necessary to earn their high school equivalency credential and pursue employment, career advancement, or postsecondary education.

Third, we recognize that many adults seek new career opportunities or wish to enhance their current skills. Burbank Adult School proudly offers a variety of career technical education programs designed to prepare students for in-demand careers, increase their earning potential, and provide pathways for career advancement and lifelong learning.

Finally, our Parent Education Program continues to provide a strong foundation for families by creating learning environments where parents, caregivers, and community members develop the skills and knowledge needed to foster safe, supportive, and thriving communities.
