Parent and Child Classes (Parents with children 0 – 3 years old)

Come Join the best parent and me program in Burbank!

Parents discuss child development and a variety of parenting issues.

Children play, sing songs, do crafts and interact with other children.

January 5 – May 1

Adult TB assessment (Link) and Child Immunization required.

Birth date of child determines the class. Students will be asked to drop or switch classes if their child is not within the age range for each class. Please read carefully. Ages are set on September 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.

Schedule 1      Muliti-age and toddler classes
9:00 – 9:30        Children play, adults observe
9:30 – 10:00     First Discussion
Children continue to play. Adults pair up. One adult goes to teacher led discussion in neighboring room; one adult supervises the pair’s children.
Teaching assistant remains with children.
10:00- 10:15    Circle time
Teacher reads stories, leads songs and movement activities.
10:15 – 10:30  Children share a school-provided snack.
10:30-11:00     Second Discussion
Children play. Second adult goes to discussion, other adult supervises children.
Teaching assistant remains with children.
11:00-11:15     Circle time with goodbye routine.

Schedule 2      Twos and Threes
9:00 – 9:40        Children play, adults observe
9:40 – 10:00     Circle time
Teacher reads stories, leads songs and movement activities.
10:00 – 10:15  Children share a school-provided snack.
10:20 – 11:00  Discussion
Children play. Adults go to teacher led discussion in neighboring room.
Teaching assistant and several parents remain with children.
11:00-11:15     Circle time with goodbye routine.
