Parent and Child Classes (Parents with children 0 – 3 years old)

Come join the best parent and me program in Burbank!

Parents discuss child development and a variety of parenting issues. Children play, sing songs, do crafts and interact with other children.

*Certificate of Completion Tuberculosis Risk Assessment and/or Examination signed by a health care provider and your child's Immunization Record are required. (Link to Adult Tuberculosis Risk Assessment form)*

 

Please note: Child's birth date determines class placement. Students will be asked to drop or switch classes if their child is not within the appropriate age range for the class. Please read carefully, ages are set on September 1.

Class Schedules

Schedule 1      (Muliti-age and toddler classes)

9:00AM-9:30AM            Child Play Observation
9:30AM-10:00AM          First Discussion
Students will partner up. Adult 1 will go to the teacher led discussion in the neighboring room with Adult 2 staying to supervise the pair’s children while they stay behind to play. Teaching assistant will remain with the children.
10:00AM-10:15AM        Circle time
Teacher reads stories, leads songs and movement activities.
10:15AM-10:30AM        Nutrition.
10:30AM-11:00AM        Second Discussion
Students switch off with their partners. Adult 2 will go to the teacher led discussion in the neighboring room with Adult 1 staying to supervise the pair’s children while they stay behind to play. Teaching assistant will remain with the children.
11:00AM-11:15AM        Circle time with goodbye routine.

 

Schedule 2      (Twos and Threes)

9:00AM-9:40AM            Child Play Observation
9:40AM-10:00AM          Circle time
Teacher reads stories, leads songs and movement activities.
10:00AM-10:15AM        Nutrition.
10:20AM-11:00AM        Discussion
Adults will go to the teacher led discussion in the neighboring room while the children stay behind to play. Teaching assistant and several parents will remain with the children.
11:00AM-11:15AM        Circle time with goodbye routine.
